1st DAY: Boarding starts at 3.30 pm at Fethiye marina. Whilst you settle in, diner will be served on the yacht this evening and we will overnight on board in Fethiye Marina. In Antique times Fethiye was known as Telmessos an done of the most important towns in those times as it on the border of Lykia and Kayra. It is said that the name of Telmessos came from the Son of Appollo. The name changed many times over the years and was eventually named Fethiye in 1914 after the first Turkish Air Force Officer who was called Fethi Bey crashed his plane and died here whilst on Duty. South of the town you will see many famous tombs and graves left over from the Antique period an done of the most famous and beautiful tombs made from Stone is the tomb of King Amyntas. Over the years Archaeologists have uncovered many different areas of interest many years old including a theatre.
